Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Fair 2024 Begins in Yangon

Yangon, Dec 6 (NationPress) The 2024 Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Fair has officially commenced in Yangon on Friday.
This event is organized by the Chinese Textile and Garment Association in Myanmar (CTGA) in cooperation with the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA).
The fair aims to foster long-term business partnerships and enhance economic relations between Myanmar, China, and ASEAN nations, as reported by the MGMA and Xinhua news agency.
A total of 20 Chinese brands and over 100 manufacturers of textiles, apparel, shoes, and bags from China showcased their offerings at the expo.
Moreover, the event spotlighted locally made products from Myanmar, which included clothing, accessories, shoes, and domestic bags produced by small and medium-sized enterprises, aiming to promote and introduce these indigenous goods.
The Korea Garments Association in Myanmar and the Hong Kong Myanmar Manufacturers' Association Limited also took part in this fair, according to the MGMA.
The three-day expo will continue until December 8.
