Washington, March 2 (NationPress) The exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has referred to the assassination of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as “the pivotal moment we’ve been anticipating,” asserting that this event signals “the dawn of the regime's inevitable decline.”

In an opinion piece for the Washington Post and during a televised segment on Fox News, Pahlavi expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump for initiating strikes that he claims have altered the power dynamics within Iran.

“Mr. President: My heartfelt thanks,” Pahlavi stated. “Your words have empowered the Iranian populace, and I firmly believe they will seize this moment.”

During the Fox News discussion, he remarked: “There is no doubt that this is the pivotal moment we’ve been waiting for.”

He further noted that “the exhilaration among Iranians both domestically and internationally illustrates the extent of hope for this occasion,” and he echoed the sentiments of “millions of Iranians expressing gratitude to President Trump for taking decisive action.”

Pahlavi contended that the Islamic Republic has long functioned as “an aggressive revolutionary entity, undermining the sovereignty of neighboring nations, stoking global conflicts, and pursuing nuclear capabilities alongside long-range missiles.”

He highlighted the regime's history of aggression towards Americans, stating that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has “caused the deaths of over a thousand Americans, including at least 603 US servicemen through Iranian-supplied roadside explosives.”

In his discussion, Pahlavi asserted that he is “at the forefront of this transition” and enjoys “the backing of millions of Iranian citizens.” He laid out his vision for a “robust and stable transition” to prevent chaos.

He referenced a comprehensive plan branded the “Iran Prosperity Project,” emphasizing that the initial hundred days are crucial to stabilize the nation. He indicated that the transition framework aims to guarantee “no disbanding of institutions, no power void, no disorder.”

“Our trajectory will be transparent: a new constitution to be drafted and ratified through a referendum, followed by free elections with international oversight,” he articulated.

During the televised interview, he estimated that the timeline from the commencement of the transition to a definitive referendum would “not exceed a couple of years at most.”

Pahlavi also envisioned a future democratic Iran as a vital strategic and economic ally for Washington. “As Iranians, we view America as our greatest partner in rebuilding our nation,” he remarked.

He proposed that re-opening Iran’s market could yield “potentially over a trillion dollars in impact and revenue for the American economy solely through Iran’s market.”

In his closing thoughts in the Washington Post, Pahlavi concluded: “When the Iranian people achieve their freedom in the forthcoming days, President Trump will be remembered as a leader who stood by them when it truly mattered.”
