Reza Pahlavi Declares Ali Khamenei Erased from History
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Washington, March 1 (NationPress) Reza Pahlavi, the exiled heir to Iran’s last Shah, proclaimed that the nation’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, has been erased from the annals of history, indicating that the Islamic Republic is effectively nearing its demise.
In a declaration aimed at the Iranian populace, Pahlavi labeled Khamenei as the “bloodthirsty tyrant of our era, responsible for the deaths of countless brave sons and daughters of Iran.”
“With his passing, the Islamic Republic will essentially meet its end and will soon be relegated to the dustbin of history,” he asserted.
Pahlavi cautioned that any actions taken by regime loyalists to appoint a successor would be futile. “Any attempt by the remnants of the regime to nominate a successor to Khamenei is destined to fail from the very beginning,” he stated.
“Whomever they choose will lack both legitimacy and endurance, and will be inherently complicit in the regime’s crimes,” he added.
Pahlavi made a direct appeal to Iran’s security establishment, saying, “To the military, law enforcement, and security forces: any effort to sustain a crumbling regime is bound to fail.”
“This is your last chance to stand with the people, to facilitate Iran’s peaceful transition to a free and prosperous future, and to partake in the creation of that future,” he urged.
He mentioned that Khamenei’s death, while not a form of justice, could provide comfort to mourning families. “The passing of the criminal Khamenei, though it cannot restore lost lives, can act as a balm for the wounded hearts of grieving families; the fathers and mothers, spouses, and children in mourning; and the families of the selfless martyrs of Iran’s Lion and Sun National Revolution.”
Pahlavi addressed what he referred to as the “Noble and courageous people of Iran,” urging them to remain vigilant and ready for further mobilization.
“This could mark the beginning of our grand national celebration, but it is not the conclusion of our journey. Stay alert and prepared,” he advised.
“The moment for a significant and decisive presence in the streets is approaching rapidly. Together, united and resolute, we will achieve final victory, and we will commemorate Iran’s freedom throughout our Ahura-created homeland,” he declared.
Pahlavi, the son of Iran’s last Shah, has lived in exile in the United States for decades. Recently, he has expressed support for anti-regime protests from abroad and has suggested that he could return to Tehran as a transitional leader to steer the nation toward democracy following Khamenei’s departure.
