Islamabad, July 20 (NationPress) In a tragic turn of events, at least 10 individuals lost their lives and more than 60 others were injured in two distinct road accidents that occurred in the southern province of Sindh, Pakistan, on Sunday, according to police reports.
One of the incidents took place in the Thatta district, where a bus transporting picnickers overturned due to excessive speed, resulting in six fatalities and over 20 injuries, local police sources informed Xinhua.
In a separate incident, a passenger bus that was en route from Karachi to Mansehra overturned on the National Highway in Khairpur district, claiming four lives and injuring 40 others, including women and children, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
Earlier this month, another fatal accident in Punjab province resulted in six deaths and 18 injuries when a passenger bus collided with a trailer in Muzaffargarh district.
This collision occurred around 7:00 am local time (0200 GMT), involving a Muzaffargarh-bound bus that struck a trailer.
Rescue officials stated that the deceased included two men, two women, and two children. The injured, including eight who were seriously hurt, were transported to the nearby Multan district for advanced medical treatment, while 10 others were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in Muzaffargarh.

In a similar incident in April, 13 people were killed and 20 injured in another accident in Sindh province, where a passenger van carrying over 30 individuals veered off the road and fell into a ravine.
