Washington, March 11 (NationPress) US military forces have targeted over 5,500 specific locations within Iran, which includes more than 60 naval vessels, since the initiation of 'Operation Epic Fury'. The leading American commander overseeing this effort has characterized the operation as a means to apply continuous military pressure on Tehran’s capabilities.

Admiral Brad Cooper, head of the United States Central Command, noted that the operation is continually broadening as American forces escalate assaults across various domains. “In essence, US forces are consistently applying impactful combat power against the Iranian regime,” he stated.

As per the commander’s remarks, American forces have executed thousands of strikes aimed at Iran’s military infrastructure.

“To date, we have targeted over 5,500 locations inside Iran, which includes more than 60 ships, utilizing a range of precise weapon systems,” Cooper elaborated. The targeted assets comprise Iranian missile and drone systems, naval resources, and segments of the nation’s defense industrial framework.

“Daily, we are striking decisively at Iranian ballistic missiles and drones,” he explained. The initiative is designed to mitigate current threats and diminish Iran’s potential to execute future assaults.

“Just last night, our bomber squad successfully hit a significant ballistic missile manufacturing facility,” Cooper added. “Since the onset of this campaign, there has been a considerable reduction in Iranian ballistic missile and drone operations,” he noted.

Naval operations have also played a critical role in the initiative. Cooper revealed that the US military has incapacitated vital Iranian ships believed to threaten maritime routes.

“We also eliminated the last of the four Soleimani-class warships. This means that an entire class of Iranian vessels is now out of action,” he stated.

The Commander described the strikes as “unpredictable, dynamic, and decisive.”

Air operations have included successive waves of advanced fighters and bombers deployed from multiple bases.

“From the aerial perspective, we’ve achieved a concentration of air power with consecutive waves of advanced fighters exerting constant pressure on the adversary daily,” Cooper remarked.

He also highlighted the increasing significance of emerging technologies in contemporary warfare, including artificial intelligence systems that rapidly analyze battlefield intelligence.

“Our military personnel are utilizing various advanced AI tools. These systems expedite the processing of extensive data, enabling our leaders to make informed decisions swiftly, outpacing enemy reactions,” he stated.

Cooper emphasized that the ultimate targeting decisions rest with human commanders.

“Final decisions on what to engage, when, and how will always be made by humans,” he confirmed.

The operation is being carried out in coordination with regional allies and partners.

“Our dominance is a collective effort. It showcases the robustness of our unwavering alliances,” Cooper remarked, emphasizing that the United States maintains close coordination with Israel and partners throughout the Middle East.

“Overall, despite our substantial advancements, we remain exceptionally vigilant,” he added.
