Hanoi, Aug 7 (NationPress) In a significant acknowledgment of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with India, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, commended the fruitful advancements in the bilateral relations between the two nations across multiple domains during a meeting with the Indian Ambassador in Hanoi.
As per the Indian Embassy in Vietnam, the Vietnamese leader expressed his heartfelt wishes to the Indian populace on the occasion of India's 79th Independence Day, relaying his greetings to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while also extending an invitation for a State Visit to Vietnam.
"General Secretary To Lam encouraged the Indian Ambassador to focus on enhancing bilateral collaboration in various sectors, particularly in fostering exchanges at both high-level and all-level delegations, successfully executing the high-level agreements, reinforcing defense and security ties, facilitating economic connectivity, aiming for a bilateral trade turnover of 20 billion USD, and doubling the two-way investment. He also highlighted the need to expand cooperation in science and technology, innovation, and cultural, educational, religious, and tourism sectors to align with the developmental goals of both nations and contribute to a peaceful, stable, and prosperous environment in the region and globally," the Indian Embassy in Hanoi shared on X.
