Lucknow, Dec 2 (NationPress) Following an intense training regimen lasting thirty-one weeks at the Rajput Regiment Centre in Farrukhabad, 565 Agniveers and recruits proudly joined the Indian Army during a formal passing-out parade.

The spectacular passing-out parade took place at the Cariappa Ground in Fatehgarh, under the watchful eye of Brigadier Michael D'Souza, Commandant of the Fatehgarh Rajput Regiment Centre.

As flowers rained down from above, the atmosphere was filled with the excitement and enthusiasm of the Agniveers. Their families were in attendance, sharing in the joy of witnessing their loved ones in military attire.

This batch comprised a total of 427 Agniveers and 138 Territorial Army recruits who successfully finished their training.

Agniveer Yash Chauhan, from Batch 6, was honored with the Best Agniveer Medal for achieving 'Overall Best in Merit'.

The Commandant of the Rajput Regiment Centre extended his congratulations to all Agniveers and recruits, urging them to actively participate in nation-building. He also highlighted the necessity of continuously updating skills to adapt to evolving warfare and security strategies.

Agniveer Mahavir Singh Rathore shared his joy, describing this day as the happiest of his life, vowing to serve his motherland with unwavering resolve.

Agniveer Pramod Singh expressed his excitement about joining the Indian Army, attributing his success to his family’s unwavering support and encouraging other youths to pursue their dreams through hard work.

Family members of the Agniveers also expressed their elation while speaking to reporters. Veena Singh shared her pride in her son’s milestone, emphasizing the collective effort of their family in achieving it.

Another family member joyfully noted that his son also became an Agniveer today, marking a moment of immense pride and celebration.
