New Delhi, Feb 6 (NationPress) A day after several exit polls forecasted a significant victory for the BJP in the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has denounced these polls as fabricated, asserting they are part of a scheme to undermine his party's progress.

In a message on X, Kejriwal articulated his discontent with the findings and discussed why he suspects these polls are being tampered with.

He stated: "Certain agencies are suggesting that the 'Gali Galauj Party' is set to win over 55 seats. In the last two hours, 16 of our candidates received calls urging them to 'abandon your party and join ours; we will appoint you as ministers and provide each of you with Rs 15-15 crores.' If they are truly winning more than 55 seats, why are they attempting to woo our candidates?

"Clearly, these deceptive surveys are designed to fabricate an atmosphere and sway a few of our candidates. However, 'Gali Galauj walon', not a single one of our members will be persuaded."

These comments were made following multiple exit polls predicting a sweeping win for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Among these forecasts, Axis My India claimed that the BJP would secure between 45-55 seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly, while the AAP would only achieve 15-25 seats, marking a notable decline from its previous strongholds.

According to the same survey, the Congress party is anticipated to perform poorly, expected to win just 0-1 seat.

The Axis My India prediction has been perceived as a severe blow to the AAP, causing significant concern within the party.

Kejriwal’s statements emerged amid accusations that BJP leaders are attempting to entice AAP candidates.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh also commented, dismissing the exit poll predictions and charging the BJP with conducting an "Operation Lotus" in Delhi. Singh accused the BJP of bribing AAP leaders to destabilize the party and pave their way to government formation in the national capital.
