How Did Punjab CM Celebrate Ludhiana By-election Win?

Ludhiana, June 24 (NationPress) A day after securing victory in the Ludhiana (West) by-election, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leadership, under the guidance of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, organized a spectacular roadshow to express their gratitude to the voters.

During his address, Chief Minister Mann remarked that the citizens have placed their faith in AAP by electing Sanjeev Arora with a greater margin than before.

“In a democracy, the people are the genuine rulers. Those who believed they could achieve anything realized by 2 p.m. yesterday that their overconfidence was misplaced. The Congress, established in 1885, and the Akali Dal, founded in 1920, have been rendered insignificant. The Akali Dal's candidate lost his deposit with only 8,000 votes, showcasing the public’s rejection of their hubris,” he stated.

Mann emphasized the importance of AAP’s triumph in both Punjab and the Visavadar by-election in Gujarat, crediting it to the relentless dedication of the party’s workers. “This victory is not just ours; it belongs to the diligent efforts of every party worker who engaged with the community. The public values sincerity and hard work. Our ambition is not to transform Punjab into another California or London; instead, we aim to restore Punjab’s former glory and make it Rangla Punjab once again,” the CM expressed.

He encouraged party members to steer clear of pointless social media disputes and concentrate on their service to the public. “Our mission is to assist the people, not to get involved in trivial conflicts. Let them talk; we will focus on our work,” Mann concluded.

AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia remarked, “Yesterday’s victory was a proud moment for AAP and a clear indication of the trust the public has in honest politics. Ludhiana (West) didn’t just elect Sanjeev Arora but also reinforced the commitment to Arvind Kejriwal’s vision of transparent governance, free from the arrogance of traditional politics. Pointing out AAP’s rapid ascent, Sisodia noted, “In 2022, an AAP wave surged across Punjab. Newly elected legislator Arora expressed his gratitude to the citizens and AAP workers for their steadfast support. He stated, “This victory belongs to you, the people of Ludhiana West.
