Acharya Pramod Krishnam Advocates for a 'Surgical Strike' Against Bangladesh to Halt Minority Oppression

New Delhi, Dec 9 (NationPress) Former Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam on Monday vehemently criticized the ongoing violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, advocating for global intervention via surgical strikes.

He accused the Bangladesh government of perpetrating terrorism and systematically oppressing minorities, particularly Hindus.

In a conversation with IANS, Krishnam stated, "The Bangladesh government is pursuing a path of terrorism. Just like ISIS targets humanity, Bangladesh is assaulting Hindus. This represents an attack on both humanity and Sanatan Dharma; it transcends religion—it is terrorism and oppression. Therefore, I urge all prominent leaders who value peace to engage with the Bangladesh government to cease the atrocities against Hindus. If they refuse, then the international community should unite and execute surgical strikes."

His statements were made in light of rising reports of violence against Hindus in Bangladesh.

Krishnam called upon the global community to adopt a firm stance against what he labeled as terrorism, advocating for a consolidated worldwide response to safeguard the Hindu populace in the nation.

Additionally, Krishnam addressed remarks made by Iltija Mufti, daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. Iltija characterized Hindutva as a 'disease' and associated the slogan 'Jai Shri Ram' with acts of lynching.

Krishnam replied, saying, "Iltija Mufti fails to recognize that her ancestors were also Hindus. By denigrating Sanatan Dharma and Hindus, she dishonors her own lineage. I implore her to reflect and educate herself on history. If she genuinely aspires to be a commendable leader, she should refrain from disparaging Sanatan."

He also dismissed statements made by Farooq Abdullah, President of the National Conference, who criticized the demolition of mosques and houses belonging to Muslims in Uttar Pradesh.

"No residences belonging to Hindus or Muslims have been demolished in Uttar Pradesh. Only the properties of criminals have been targeted. Sanatan Dharma does not condone the destruction of any mosque or disrespect towards any faith," he clarified.

Krishnam labeled Abdullah's comments as unfounded and challenged him to substantiate his claims regarding mosque demolitions.
