“In the year 2026, Adani Green Energy has maintained its impressive growth trajectory, contributing 5.6 GW to renewable energy capacity, which accounts for nearly 14% of all newly installed solar and wind capacity in India,” stated Ashish Khanna, CEO of Adani Green Energy.

This milestone strengthens our status as the leading provider of green energy in the nation, with operational capacity now at 17.2 GW.

“Our landmark Khavda project, recognized as the world's largest renewable energy facility, is advancing rapidly. We are on track for the deployment of one of the globe's largest single-location battery energy storage projects in the upcoming months, alongside our hydro pumped storage project on the Chitravathi river in Andhra Pradesh,” Khanna elaborated.

In the initial nine months of this fiscal, the company generated over 27 billion units of clean electricity — equivalent to powering a nation the size of Azerbaijan for a whole year.

“Being acknowledged as the World’s No. 1 Green Utility in the latest annual rankings by Energy Intelligence underscores our dedication to fostering a sustainable future while delivering consistent value to all stakeholders,” Khanna added.

AGEL is making steady progress in developing the expansive 30 GW renewable energy facility at Khavda, Gujarat, which spans an area of 538 sq km, nearly five times larger than the city of Paris.
