New Delhi, Oct 28 (NationPress) Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced a remarkable 26% revenue increase year-on-year, reaching Rs 6,088 crore in the initial half of this fiscal year (H1 FY26), while energy sales witnessed a substantial 39% rise to 19,569 million units.
As of September 30, the company’s operational capacity stood at 16.7 GW, maintaining its position as the largest in India.
EBITDA saw a growth of 25% year-on-year, amounting to Rs 5,651 crore in H1 FY26, surpassing the total EBITDA for FY23.
“We have successfully added 2.4 GW of renewable energy capacity in H1 FY26 and are well on our way to achieving 5 GW capacity addition in FY26, aiming for a total of 50 GW by 2030. Our team is diligently progressing on the 30 GW renewable energy plant project at Khavda, Gujarat,” stated Ashish Khanna, CEO of Adani Green Energy.
The company generated 19.6 billion units of clean energy, sufficient to power an entire country like Croatia for a year.

This subsidiary of the Adani Group has been expanding its greenfield capacities through advanced resource management and engineering, with project oversight from Adani Infra India Ltd (AIIL).
Operational capacity has increased by an impressive 49% year-on-year to 16.7 GW, keeping it on track for the 50 GW target.
AGEL added 2,437 MW of greenfield capacity in H1 FY26, which represents 74% of the total capacity addition for FY25. Over the past year, greenfield additions reached 5,496 MW, including 4,200 MW of solar capacity distributed across Khavda, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh, alongside 491 MW of wind capacity and 805 MW of solar-wind hybrid capacity.
AGEL is making significant strides in the development of the colossal 30 GW renewable energy plant at Khavda, Gujarat, which spans an area of 538 sq km, almost five times the size of Paris.
