Ahmedabad, Aug 18 (NationPress) The Adani Group has firmly rejected claims circulating in certain media outlets regarding the allocation of land by the Assam government for a cement manufacturing facility within the state, labeling these assertions as groundless, false, and misleading.
"We have observed that various news articles, social media messages, and snippets from legal proceedings are being shared, alleging that the Assam government has granted 3,000 bighas of land in Dima Hasao to the Adani Group for a cement plant," stated a spokesperson for the Adani Group.
"We unequivocally declare that these reports and their implications are baseless, false, and misleading. Associating the Adani name with Mahabal Cement is a misrepresentation. Mahabal Cement is not associated with, owned by, or linked to the Adani Group in any way," the spokesperson emphasized.
The spokesperson further stated: "We strongly encourage media personnel, digital platforms, and the public to confirm the accuracy of information before disseminating or endorsing such claims. The spread of unverified and misleading information not only misleads the public but also breeds unnecessary confusion."
