New Delhi, March 8 (NationPress) Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, expressed his gratitude on Saturday for the opportunity to welcome nine remarkable women Ambassadors and High Commissioners to India.

In a message shared on the X social media platform, Gautam Adani remarked that the commendation and insights offered for local women were truly inspiring.

“Our family was privileged to host nine remarkable women Ambassadors and High Commissioners to India. I am thankful for their visit to the Adani Renewable Energy Park in Khavda and the Mundra SEZ,” stated the billionaire industrialist.

“Their commendation and insights for the local women spearheading these initiatives were truly inspiring. On International Women's Day, let’s celebrate breaking boundaries and crafting a brighter future!” added the Adani Group Chairperson.

The women’s delegation included Ina Krisnamurthi, Ambassador of Indonesia to India; Diana Mickeviciene, Ambassador of Lithuania to India; Ana Taban, Ambassador of Moldova to India; Sena Latif, Ambassador of Romania to India, Nepal, and Bangladesh; Lalatiana Accouche, High Commissioner of the Republic of Seychelles to India; Lebohang Valentine Mochaba, High Commissioner of Lesotho to India; Marje Luup, Ambassador of Estonia to India; Mateja Vodeb Ghosh, Ambassador of Slovenia to India; and Peggy Frantzen, Ambassador of Luxembourg to India.

In a dedicated engagement prior to International Women's Day, the Adani Group hosted a delegation of women Ambassadors from nine nations at the conglomerate's projects in Khavda and Mundra, both located in Gujarat, where they observed India's advancements in clean energy, infrastructure, and industrial development.

The delegation first explored Khavda, a remote area in western India's arid Kutch district, where Adani Green Energy, the largest renewables company in India, is constructing the world’s largest clean energy facility.

They also toured Adani's cutting-edge solar manufacturing plant, a pivotal project in India’s journey towards self-sufficiency in renewable energy.
