Mumbai, Aug 11 (NationPress) Amidst the ongoing dispute between the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Shiv Sena regarding the guardian ministership of Raigad district, Aditi Tatkare, the NCP minister for women and child welfare, has been designated to conduct the flag hoisting ceremony in Raigad on Independence Day.
The General Administration Department (GAD) issued a government resolution on Monday, outlining the ministers responsible for flag hoisting at all district headquarters. The Chief Minister will oversee the main event at Mantralaya, while Governor CP Radhakrishnan will hoist the flag in Pune.
The NCP and Shiv Sena are currently locked in a struggle over the Raigad guardian ministership, with the Shiv Sena advocating for its MLA Bharat Gogawale, who is also the minister for Employment Guarantee schemes, horticulture, and salt pan land development, to be appointed.
