Hyderabad, March 24 (NationPress) An advocate was brutally murdered in broad daylight in Hyderabad on Monday, according to police reports.

The incident took place in the New Maruti Nagar colony, located in the Santosh Nagar area.

The victim, identified as Errababu Israel, was fatally stabbed by an assailant on the street. He was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

Upon receiving the report, the police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. Family members of the deceased claim that a man named Dastagiri, who works as an electrician, is responsible for the murder.

The suspect held a personal vendetta against the lawyer due to a previous complaint lodged with the police regarding harassment of a woman.

Dastagiri was employed as an electrician in an apartment complex that housed Israel's office. A tenant residing in the same building had confided in the lawyer about the harassment.

After receiving the complaint from Israel, Dastagiri confronted the lawyer, leading to an argument that culminated in the stabbing.

Following the incident, the accused surrendered to the Santosh Nagar Police Station. A case has been registered, and a thorough investigation is underway.

The murder has sparked outrage among various community members, who are calling for the strictest penalties for the perpetrator.

In response to Israel's tragic death, lawyers at the Rangareddy district court staged a boycott of their duties. Chanting slogans of 'we want justice', the protesting lawyers sat down on the road in LB Nagar, demanding severe punishment for the offender.

They also urged the state government to enact legislation to ensure the safety of lawyers. Furthermore, they declared their intention not to represent Dastagiri in court.

In a separate incident, authorities discovered a man murdered in the Nampally area, situated in the heart of the city.

The body of an unidentified individual was located behind the Manoranjan Complex, near the Nampally Exhibition Grounds.

Police suspect foul play, believing the man was bludgeoned to death. His body has been transported to Osmania Hospital for an autopsy.

Authorities have opened a case and are conducting an investigation.
