Bengaluru, May 3 (NationPress) An attorney was savagely murdered by a group of attackers on NICE Road close to Kengeri in Bengaluru.
The victim has been identified as Jagadeesha H., a 46-year-old resident of SMV Layout, Kengeri.
This tragic event was reported on Saturday, with his body discovered on NICE Road, near CV Raman Estate in Kengeri, roughly 150 meters from his car late Friday night. The vehicle's lights were illuminated, and all four doors were securely locked.
The deceased suffered extensive injuries to his head and various other areas of his body. A police report was filed by Dr. Prabhanjan, a relative of the victim. The Kengeri Police have initiated an FIR against unidentified individuals and are conducting an investigation.
According to the FIR, “On May 2, 2025, at about 10:30 p.m., the complainant received a call from a relative, Harsha B., notifying him that Jagadeesha had passed away on NICE Road. The complainant hurried to the site near CV Raman Estate on NICE Road, arriving around 10:50 p.m.
Upon arrival, he noticed that the Kia Seltos belonging to Jagadeesha had significant damage on both sides. The parking lights were on, the engine was still running, and all four doors were locked. Jagadeesha's body was found approximately 150 meters from the vehicle.
He had a profound wound at the center of his head, serious lacerations on his left leg and abdomen, and the rear of his head was severely damaged, with brain matter visible.
Upon further inspection, the complainant observed that there was a distance of about 150 meters between the vehicle and the location of the body. Considering the locked car doors and the severity of the injuries, he suspects that unknown criminals may have staged a collision to force Jagadeesha out of the vehicle before fatally attacking him with a weapon. His mobile phone was also reported missing from the scene.”
The complainant alleged that the murder was premeditated and called upon the police to identify and prosecute the unknown suspects responsible for this heinous act.
The police have registered a case under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and are actively investigating the matter.
