Hyderabad, Nov 14 (NationPress) The AIMIM, which successfully secured five seats in the Bihar Assembly elections, is committed to advocating for the development and justice of Seemanchal, asserted party President Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday.

The MP from Hyderabad expressed gratitude for the mandate given by the people of Bihar. "We appreciate the public mandate and congratulate Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, extending our best wishes," he stated.

During a press conference, Owaisi emphasized that his party is ready to collaborate with the government to foster the development of Seemanchal.

"Our priority will be to enhance Seemanchal's progress, lower child mortality rates, and establish schools, hospitals, bridges, and industries for women and children. We are fully committed to this initiative," he remarked.

Despite facing challenges, including a setback in the previous election and the defection of four MLAs in 2022, the AIMIM remains steadfast in its commitment to Seemanchal and has vowed to continue its efforts.

Expressing gratitude to the electorate for supporting five AIMIM MLAs, Owaisi noted that this victory sends a significant message to minorities nationwide.

"I urge the Muslim community to not just be voters for others but to claim their rights as citizens. If you merely vote, you risk being forgotten post-election, and no one will assist you in times of crisis," he cautioned.

He expressed hope that secular forces would reflect on their strategies rather than solely blaming the Muslim community for electoral failures.

"It is inappropriate to claim that a specific caste did not support you while blaming Muslims as if they are your captive voters," he responded to a query.

The AIMIM leader reiterated his belief that the RJD would be unable to halt the BJP's momentum.

"Bihar's populace was misled regarding the M-Y alliance. I have consistently stated this, both prior to and during the elections, and I will reiterate it now. You risk becoming merely vote-givers. Instead, strive to be vote-getters, which will yield benefits in developing your leadership and combatting communal and fascist elements," he emphasized.

Owaisi conveyed that his predictions regarding the Bihar elections had materialized. While not directly naming the Mahagathbandhan, he urged them to assess why they failed to counter the BJP's advance.

Calling for a reevaluation of their approach, he insisted that simply blaming the AIMIM is not a viable solution.

He dismissed comments made by Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, who blamed SIR for their defeat in Bihar.

"It is essential to acknowledge your shortcomings. Humility is key. The era of viewing voters as subjects is over," he stated.

The AIMIM chief praised the Congress candidate Naveen Yadav for his win in the Jubilee Hills by-election, noting a call from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressing gratitude for AIMIM's support.

Describing this as a significant victory following the 2023 elections, Owaisi expressed hope that CM Revanth Reddy would enhance infrastructure and public amenities in Jubilee Hills and across Hyderabad and Telangana.

He defended the party's stance, highlighting the declining vote share of the BRS.
