Patna, Sep 27 (NationPress) AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi delivered a scathing critique of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a large rally in Katihar’s Balrampur Assembly constituency, accusing the BJP leadership of tarnishing the reputation of the people from Bihar’s Seemanchal region.
Speaking to an enthusiastic audience at the PWD ground in Barsoi, Owaisi stated, “We will overthrow Amit Shah and Narendra Modi. Support us, and we will defeat the BJP and the RSS. We will triumph over those who have betrayed us. We will reclaim your rights and transform everything from top to bottom.”
In response to Shah’s remarks regarding infiltrators in Seemanchal, the AIMIM chief asserted, “Whenever I come here, PM Modi and Amit Shah slander the people of Seemanchal, labeling them as infiltrators. Everyone here is Indian; no one is Bangladeshi. Do not fear them.”
The AIMIM president urged voters to reject the politics of fear, claiming the BJP exploits communal narratives to fracture communities ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections.
Owaisi emphasized the region's inadequate electricity supply and deficient healthcare services, challenging the crowd, “Will you endure this? If not, then choose an MLA of your preference.”
He encouraged residents to empower themselves by voting decisively, stating that only then could they ensure leaders committed to the development of Seemanchal.
The rally attracted thousands of participants, with individuals arriving from nearby villages and towns since early morning.
Owaisi was joined on stage by AIMIM Bihar state president Akhtarul Iman, party spokesperson Adil Hasan, and several senior leaders.
Earlier in the day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during a workers' meeting in Forbesganj, Araria, stated, “We pledge to take strong action against infiltrators in the Seemanchal region of Bihar.”
“Once you grant us a decisive mandate, I assure you that we will work to expel infiltrators one by one. Lalu and Rahul's parties wish to protect them, but we will drive them out,” Shah declared.
