Mumbai, May 19 (NationPress) During the Tiranga Yatra organized by the BJP nationwide celebrating the success of Operation Sindoor, Prakash Ambedkar, president of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, questioned the Central government on the whereabouts of the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack, which occurred nearly a month ago.
Ambedkar stated, “Modiji, regarding the Pahalgam attack, where are the terrorists responsible? It has been almost a month. Is your focus on national security or merely propaganda, as the so-called Vishwaguru with a 56-inch chest claims?” He expressed his concerns on X.
He emphasized, “What is there to celebrate? The widows of the martyrs from that attack are still waiting for justice!”
On April 24, Prime Minister Modi assured that the terrorists and their masterminds would face consequences they could never envision.
“Now is the time to dismantle whatever remains of the terror haven. The resolve of 140 crore Indians will shatter the backbone of the terror masters. I assure the world that India will identify, track, and punish every terrorist and their supporters. We will pursue them to the ends of the earth. India’s spirit will not yield to terrorism. Every effort will be made to ensure justice is served,” declared PM Modi.
Ambedkar's remarks follow a ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, coupled with the Centre dispatching seven teams of ruling and opposition members to 32 nations to gather support for India.
The government stated that this diplomatic outreach aims to convey India’s determination to combat terrorism in light of Operation Sindoor.
Previously, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray responded to Operation Sindoor by stating, “War is not the solution to a terrorist attack.”
He insisted that the terrorists responsible for the murder of 26 individuals in Pahalgam should be tracked down and eliminated.
“Upon the occurrence of the Pahalgam attack, I initially posted on X that the terrorists should be dealt with in a manner that their future generations will remember. However, violence is not the answer to a terrorist attack. The US did not wage war after the Twin Towers were destroyed; they eliminated the terrorists instead,” he asserted.
