Ahmedabad, Jan 29 (NationPress) The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in Gujarat has marked a significant milestone by completing an unprecedented 8.45 lakh metric tons of road construction across all seven city zones during this financial year.
This initiative is a crucial part of the city’s preparations for the Commonwealth Games 2030, aimed at enhancing urban mobility, traffic management, and overall commuting efficiency.
From April 1, 2025, to January 26, 2026, AMC undertook major projects on key roads, interconnecting streets, and internal city routes, thus fortifying the transport network and significantly improving traffic conditions.
