Chandigarh, Oct 2 (NationPress) Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Haryana on Friday to unveil India’s largest dairy production facility, in addition to announcing development projects worth Rs 825 crore in Rohtak and Kurukshetra.

According to a spokesperson from the state government, HM Shah will inaugurate the newly established Sabar Dairy Plant located in IMT Rohtak as part of initiatives aimed at bolstering the cooperative sector. This plant, constructed at a cost of Rs 325 crore, is equipped with cutting-edge machinery and will be officially inaugurated by the Union Minister.

The facility is projected to create both direct and indirect job opportunities for nearly 1,000 individuals. The Sabar Dairy Plant is recognized as India’s largest facility for producing curd, buttermilk, and yogurt, with a daily output capacity of 150 metric tons of curd, 3 lakh liters of buttermilk, 10 lakh liters of yogurt, and 10 metric tons of sweets.
