Amaravati, June 11 (NationPress) The TDP-led coalition government in Andhra Pradesh is set to celebrate its first anniversary in office on Thursday by unveiling the ‘Talli Ki Vandanam’ scheme, aimed to honor mothers.
The NDA administration, under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, will allocate funds to initiate this scheme, fulfilling a significant commitment from its ‘Super Six’ agenda.
Through this initiative, each school-going student will receive an annual sum of Rs 15,000, which will be deposited directly into the bank account of the respective mother.
The government projects that this scheme will positively impact 67 lakh mothers, with funds being transferred directly to their bank accounts. As pledged in the manifesto, the implementation ensures that a mother receives benefits for each child enrolled in school.
