Did Anta's Development Flourish Under Congress While BJP Faced Division?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Jaipur, Nov 6 (NationPress) Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot asserted that all significant development initiatives in Anta were executed during the tenure of the Congress government, highlighting that the party has consistently placed the region's advancement as a priority.
During an election rally supporting Congress candidate Pramod Jain Bhaiya, Pilot remarked that the BJP MLA’s disqualification was not due to Congress, but rather a verdict from the esteemed court, which deemed him unfit to serve in the Legislative Assembly.
“This by-election is a direct outcome of that judicial ruling,” he stated.
He further noted that the Anta by-election transcends a mere contest for one seat; it serves as a referendum on the BJP government’s performance over the past two years.
“The electorate is evaluating how the BJP has administered Rajasthan during this period. The government has reneged on its commitments and betrayed the trust of the citizens,” Pilot asserted.
The Congress leader also pointed out the evident internal conflicts within the BJP, particularly during the distribution of tickets.
“The BJP is grappling with internal strife within both its governance and organizational structure,” he commented.
Pilot conveyed his confidence that the Congress party will secure a decisive victory in the Anta by-election, affirming that all 36 communities are united in support of Congress.
“The government machinery is being fully mobilized for this election, but the public stands with us. I am optimistic that voters will favor Pramod Jain Bhaiya and elect him to the Assembly. His success will resonate nationwide,” he expressed.
Expanding on national dynamics, Pilot predicted a significant victory for the Grand Alliance in Bihar.
“There is a strong desire for change there as well. The so-called ‘double-engine’ model has utterly failed in Bihar, and the public is ready to terminate a 20-year-old regime,” he stated.
Pilot concluded by urging voters to support the Congress candidate for sustained development and transparent governance in Anta.
