Narwal resided in Vijay Nagar in Rohtak. Her remains were found near a bus stand in Sampla.
“The SIT has been activated. Her mobile phone has been retrieved. We are collaborating with cyber experts and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL),” stated Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajneesh Kumar to the press on Sunday.

The victim’s mother expressed that the party was responsible for her daughter’s demise. “The elections and the party contributed to my daughter's death, leading her to make some enemies. The perpetrators could be affiliated with the party, or they might be her acquaintances as well... She was at home on February 28,” stated the victim’s mother, Savita.

Former Chief Minister and Congress leader Bhupinder Hooda demanded a thorough investigation on Saturday. “The manner of this girl’s murder and discovering her body in a suitcase is profoundly tragic and alarming. It highlights a serious issue within the law and order framework of the state. A high-level, unbiased investigation into this murder is imperative, and the government must ensure justice for the victim's family promptly while delivering the harshest penalties to the offenders,” Hooda stated.
