Guwahati, Sep 19 (NationPress) Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday conveyed his profound sorrow over the tragic and unexpected passing of the legendary singer from Assam, Zubeen Garg, who lost his life in an accident in Singapore.
In a heartfelt message shared on X, CM Sarma stated, “Today, Assam has lost one of its beloved sons. I find myself at a loss for words to express the significance of Zubeen to our state. His departure comes too soon; this was not the age to say goodbye. Zubeen's voice had an unparalleled capacity to invigorate audiences, and his music resonated deeply with our hearts and minds. He has created an irreplaceable void among us.”
The Chief Minister further remarked, “Future generations will remember him as a pillar of Assam’s culture, and his artistic legacy will inspire numerous budding talents in the years to come.
