Jaipur, Dec 25 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, has declared the initiation of Atal Gyan Kendras in all gram panchayats within the state, celebrating the occasion of 'Good Governance Day', which marks the 100th birth anniversary of the late former Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee.

CM Sharma highlighted that these centers are designed to enhance awareness among the youth and offer vital training resources.

In a move aimed at creating job opportunities, rural youth will be appointed as Atal Preraks.

According to the Chief Minister, the Atal Gyan Kendras will include libraries and e-libraries to foster self-study and equip rural youth for competitive exams.

These initiatives will also strive to promote reading habits among the wider community.

Furthermore, career counselling services will assist youth in navigating their future paths.

The centers will guarantee that government programs effectively reach the intended beneficiaries.

Public services such as applications for welfare initiatives and documentation including caste, birth, death certificates, domicile, and ration cards will be made accessible.

These efforts aim to streamline administrative tasks for rural inhabitants.

The government plans to conduct Atal Jan Seva Camps on December 26 at all Panchayat Samiti headquarters to facilitate easy access to diverse schemes and services.

The e-Governance Award will be renamed the Atal e-Governance Award.

In tribute to Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, computer rooms in government schools will be referred to as Atal Computer Rooms.

The state government has allocated Rs 500 crore for the gradual development of these centers, reaffirming its dedication to empowering rural communities and honoring the legacy of former PM Vajpayee.
