Avadh Ojha Compares Arvind Kejriwal to Lord Krishna: Exclusive IANS Interview

New Delhi, Dec 24 (NationPress) Renowned civil services mentor Avadh Ojha, who recently became a part of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has drawn a parallel between the party leader Arvind Kejriwal and divinity, referring to him as an 'incarnation of Krishna'.

In an exclusive conversation with IANS, the esteemed educator remarked, “Arvind Kejriwal is indeed a God, he is an avatar of Krishna.” The coach-turned-politician elaborated on various topics, including the upcoming Delhi elections and the possibility of Kejriwal ascending to the role of Prime Minister by 2029.

Here is the complete interview:

IANS: Is Arvind Kejriwal regarded as the 'God of the poor'?

Avadh Ojha: Absolutely, Arvind Kejriwal is a God; I have previously stated that he is an avatar of Krishna. Whenever an individual strives to transform society or emerges as a savior for the impoverished, the “Kans” (oppressors) of society pursue them relentlessly. After all, why was Lord Krishna born in captivity? What transgression did Devaki and Vasudeva commit? The societal oppressors, the Kans, abhor anyone advocating for the less fortunate, laborers, or the marginalized. The current state of Delhi stands as a testament to this.

Conditions are dire across the nation. There are fears that Kejriwal may become Prime Minister by 2029, which is why he is under scrutiny. I strongly believe he embodies divine qualities. With initiatives like free education and medical care, he even considers the elderly who fall ill and lack caregivers. These are traits befitting a deity.

IANS: Poet Kumar Vishwas recently made a statement suggesting that children should be educated about the Ramayana, or else someone might take away Lakshmi from their homes. What are your thoughts on this?

Avadh Ojha: Kumar Vishwas is a respected poet with a considerable following. While he advocates for teaching children the Ramayana, I would suggest that they should also explore texts such as the Bible, Quran, Gita, and other religious scriptures. These works encapsulate the essence of humanity's upliftment. Personally, I teach the Gita on my channel. Regarding the latter part of his statement, I believe that women possess the right to choose. Poet Vishwas may not be aware, but women have historically had the autonomy to select their partners. For instance, Savitri chose Satyavan. His remark may have been unintentional, but it is inappropriate to comment on anyone’s private matters. We all have families and should show them respect.

IANS: How would you assess Kejriwal's simplicity and leadership qualities?

Avadh Ojha: A regular teacher like myself received acknowledgment from him. Traditional political parties often overlook common citizens. However, Kejriwal, a national leader, welcomed me. I have observed his democratic style and his commitment to meritocracy. He possesses a unique approach and consistently works within a democratic framework.

IANS: Will Rahul Gandhi's influence affect the Delhi elections?

Avadh Ojha: Rahul Gandhi is a prominent leader in our country. If he communicates effectively, people will undoubtedly pay attention.

IANS: Congress has accused Kejriwal of being anti-Dalit. What is your perspective?

Avadh Ojha: The Ambedkar Excellence Study Scheme and the Ambedkar Scholarship for students wishing to study abroad bear Dr. Ambedkar’s name. Kejriwal has publicly declared that Dr. Ambedkar is his God and that he is a devoted follower. He has also stated that he will not tolerate anyone speaking against his God.

IANS: AIMIM is putting forward candidates in the Delhi elections. Does this pose a threat to AAP's supremacy?

Avadh Ojha: Our sisters stand with us, we have the blessings of our elders, our children are with us, and the youth supports us. So, who can pose a threat? In a democracy, everyone has the right to contest elections, and they should. There is no issue with that.

IANS: Should the Chief Minister of Delhi be a Dalit?

Avadh Ojha: Whether the Chief Minister should be Dalit or Muslim is contingent on the party's regulations and protocols. Leadership must always prioritize merit. During the Swadeshi movement, leaders like Bal Gangadhar Tilak encouraged both Muslims and Dalits to step forward. Where merit exists, it should always be recognized.

IANS: Will the issue of historical excavations play a significant role in the Delhi elections?

Avadh Ojha: If we excavate the entire nation, as one of our leaders Sanjay Singh once mentioned, even the Parliament might unveil something. Should the Prime Minister excavate the Parliament too? I believe our focus should be on economic matters. People are facing challenges. Education, healthcare, and employment are the genuine concerns. Why squander time on trivial issues?

IANS: In the previous election, BJP posed a tough challenge to Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in his constituency. This time, Congress has nominated a former MLA. Will it lead to a triangular contest?

Avadh Ojha: The excitement continues until the very last moment of the match. The victor will be the one who fights with valor, determination, and divine blessings. The one whose chariot is steered by Krishna will become Arjuna and triumph in this Mahabharata.
