"The Union Budget 2025-26 is not merely a compilation of numbers; it is a roadmap for a developed India characterized by self-reliance, growth, and prosperity, aligned with the Prime Minister's vision," Bandi Sanjay stated on 'X'.

"From supporting farmers to providing relief for the middle class, empowering women and youth, encouraging startups, and developing infrastructure to stimulate investments, this Budget is committed to fulfilling the aspirations of the nation's citizens," he added.

The MoS expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for delivering a bold, inclusive, and forward-looking Budget.

He welcomed the introduction of a new initiative aimed at aiding 5 lakh women, SC/ST communities, and first-time entrepreneurs with term loans up to Rs 2 crore over the next five years. Bandi Sanjay remarked that this groundbreaking measure embodies Prime Minister Modi’s vision of inclusive growth.

Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy stated that the increased tax exemption to Rs 12 lakh would empower the middle class.

He also applauded the decision to entirely exempt Basic Customs Duty (BCD) on cobalt powder and waste, scrap of lithium-ion batteries, lead, zinc, and 12 additional essential minerals.

"This builds upon the 25 critical minerals already exempt from BCD as per the previous Budget announcement. This revolutionary initiative promotes the manufacturing of these essential minerals in India, creating more job opportunities for our youth," he remarked.
