Patna, Oct 15 (NationPress) The competition for the Bihar Assembly elections is intensifying. Amid ongoing disputes regarding seat-sharing within the Mahagathbandhan alliance, the NDA partners are progressively unveiling their candidates.
On Wednesday, the Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) published its inaugural list featuring 14 candidates for the Assembly elections, with its state president Raju Tiwari contesting from the Govindganj constituency.
Other candidates include Sanjay Kumar Singh from Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Vishnudev Paswan from Darauli, Seemant Mrinal from Garkha, and Surendra Kumar from Sahebpur Kamal.
Additionally, Sanjay Kumar from Bakhri, Babulal Shaurya from Parbatta, Mithun Kumar from Nathnagar, Sunil Kumar from Paliganj, Hulas Pandey from Brahmapur, and Rajiv Ranjan Singh from Dehri are also running as LJP (RV) candidates.
Moreover, Sangeeta Devi from Balrampur, Rani Kumari from Makhdumpur, and Prakash Chandra from Obra are additional nominees for LJP (RV) in this election.
The LJP-RV shared their candidate list on X, expressing, “We are confident that everyone will play a crucial role in achieving the vision of 'Bihar First-Bihari First' and contribute towards the comprehensive development of Bihar.”
Earlier today, the BJP revealed its second list of candidates, while the Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal (United) announced its first list of 57 candidates for the imminent elections.
The Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) has already declared its candidates for all six seats.
According to the seat-sharing arrangement, the JD(U) and BJP are contesting 101 seats each, while LJP (Ram Vilas) is the third major ally, competing for 29 seats.
Former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Rajya Sabha member Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Morcha have each secured six seats.
The first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections is scheduled for November 6, followed by the second phase on November 11, with the vote counting set for November 14.
