The arrested individuals, identified as Ashok Yadav and Matlu Mahto, also known as Navneet Kumar Narottam, have been placed in judicial custody. A third suspect, Ravikant Kumar, remains at large, with police conducting ongoing raids to locate him.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police has assured that stringent measures will be taken against anyone involved in crimes against women, stressing that such abhorrent acts will face zero tolerance.
Nalanda police have filed a First Information Report against all three suspects at the Noorsarai police station, charging them with molestation, outraging the modesty of a woman, attempted rape, intimidation of the victim, and violations of the Information Technology Act.
The victim lives in a village with her in-laws, while her husband is employed in Maharashtra.
