The collision happened near the Miryalguda Bypass when a truck struck a cement tanker.

The truck crashed into the cement tanker while it was making a turn at the bypass. The cement tanker was en route to Guntur from Miryalguda, whereas the truck, loaded with marbles, was also heading to Guntur but from Shamshabad near Hyderabad.
In a separate incident in Kamareddy district, five agricultural workers suffered injuries when their autorickshaw overturned.
This accident took place late Thursday night at Antampalli in Bikanoor mandal as 15 agricultural workers were returning from the fields.
The group hailed from Surayapalli in Lingampet mandal.
Meanwhile, police are investigating another tragic incident that occurred on Thursday at Mokila in Rangareddy district near Hyderabad, where four students lost their lives after their car collided with a roadside tree.
Initial findings indicate that the vehicle was traveling at a speed of 100 kmph. The accident transpired as five students were returning to Hyderabad following a birthday celebration.
A female student remains critically injured from the crash. Three of the deceased were students from ICFAI Business School, and the fourth was an engineering student from MGIT.
Among the victims was Sumeet, who had hosted a dinner at a hotel for his birthday; he was also the driver of the vehicle.
According to police accounts, Sumeet lost control of the car while trying to avoid a speed check barricade.
