BJP Leader Claims Congress Lacks Moral Authority to Invoke Babasaheb’s Name

Bengaluru, Dec 24 (NationPress) The Congress, which has consistently offended Dr Ambedkar, lacks the moral authority to utilize his name, asserted Dr P. Sudhakar Reddy, BJP's co-in charge for Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
Addressing the media at Jagannath Bhavan in Bengaluru on Tuesday, he noted that Congress leaders are currently in turmoil following their defeats in Maharashtra and Haryana.
He condemned the Congress for leveraging Babasaheb Ambedkar’s name to shield their leaders while having previously insulted him by defeating him in the Lok Sabha elections on two occasions. "The Congress government in the state has utterly failed. They have not adequately implemented the five guarantees and are levying both official and unofficial taxes," he stated.
"Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution, opposed the partition of the country and opposed the enforcement of Article 370. He criticized the Congress for declaring a state of emergency and transforming the nation into a prison. The Congress is indulging in vote-bank politics," he added.
Reddy accused the Congress of attempting to damage the image of Union Home Minister Amit Shah while affirming that the populace has confidence in both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. He indicated that Congress is once more misusing Dr Ambedkar’s name for political gain, but the public is aware of Congress's true character.
He acknowledged Amit Shah for unveiling Congress' erroneous policies to the citizenry and commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his relentless efforts towards a self-sufficient and independent India.
He further reproached the Congress for their inability to accept a person from a modest background serving as Prime Minister for over ten years, and he specifically criticized Rahul Gandhi for showing disrespect to the former UPA Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Reddy characterized Dr Ambedkar as the architect of a remarkable Constitution, which he deemed a blessing for the nation.
The BJP leader expressed his dismay over local ministers making disrespectful remarks about Amit Shah, labeling it as inappropriate behavior.
Former Minister and MLA Janardhan Reddy, who also addressed the gathering, noted that presidents of Yuva Morcha from all 30 districts of the state participated in a program on good governance led by Dr P. Sudhakar Reddy as part of the celebrations for Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birth anniversary.
He mentioned discussions about planning year-long events to honor Vajpayee’s birth centenary.
Reddy highlighted that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had pointed out incidents of how the Congress has disrespected and insulted Dr Ambedkar in Parliament.
He criticized the Congress for invoking Dr Ambedkar’s name today, despite their past of dishonoring him.
