Desperation Leads Congress to Misrepresent Facts: Rajeev Chandrasekhar Responds to Allegations Against HM Shah

New Delhi, Dec 18 (NationPress) Former Union Minister and BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar has vocally denounced the Congress party for its accusations against Home Minister Amit Shah regarding disrespect towards Dr B.R. Ambedkar. In a statement to IANS, he remarked, 'The Congress is in a state of desperation,' and accused the party of manipulating facts to deceive the public while resorting to a strategy filled with lies and theatrics due to a lack of any genuine vision for the country.

Chandrasekhar pointed out that during its 65 years of governance, the Congress failed to acknowledge Dr Ambedkar's contributions and showed disrespect towards the Constitution.

He noted, 'The recent sessions in Parliament have clearly demonstrated how the Congress has neglected to uphold the ideals of the Constitution.'

He further accused the party of recycling outdated tactics, such as misrepresenting an old video of Amit Shah to falsely assert that he was against SC/ST reservations, a claim that has already been thoroughly disproven.

'This is merely a display of political theatrics,' he stated, emphasizing that the Congress is leaning on unfounded allegations as part of Rahul Gandhi's misguided political strategy.

'The Congress lacks any solid plans or intentions to meet the nation’s requirements, which has led them to engage in divisive and misleading political tactics,' he added.

Regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent remarks on X against the Congress, Chandrasekhar stated, 'PM Modi has accurately noted that the Congress has descended into corrupt politics. Under Rahul Gandhi's leadership, the party has no vision or strategy for the nation. The public is aware of who truly disrespected Dr Ambedkar, denied him the Bharat Ratna, and even ran candidates against him in elections.'

The BJP leader reiterated that the party, under PM Modi, has consistently honored Dr Ambedkar and upheld the Constitution's principles with the highest regard. 'The public has seen through the Congress’ deceptions and political theatrics,' he concluded.

Earlier, PM Modi launched a fierce critique of the Congress, accusing it of engaging in underhanded tactics to tarnish the legacy of Dr Ambedkar and demean the SC/ST communities.

'If the Congress and its corrupt ecosystem believe their malicious falsehoods can conceal their long-standing misdeeds, particularly their disrespect towards Dr Ambedkar, they are gravely mistaken! The people of India have repeatedly witnessed how a single party, led by one dynasty, has resorted to every possible underhanded tactic to erase the legacy of Dr Ambedkar and demean the SC/ST communities,' PM Modi expressed in a post on X.
