Chandrasekhar Accuses Congress of Manipulating Facts Regarding HM Shah

New Delhi, Dec 18 (NationPress) Former Union Minister and BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar has sharply criticized the Congress for their claims that Home Minister Amit Shah has shown disrespect towards Dr B.R. Ambedkar. In response to these allegations, the BJP leader stated in an interview with IANS, "The Congress has become desperate," accusing the party of manipulating facts to mislead the public and resorting to a strategy filled with lies and drama in the absence of a solid vision for the country.
Chandrasekhar pointed out that throughout their 65 years in power, the Congress has overlooked Dr Ambedkar’s significant contributions and has shown disrespect towards the Constitution.
He remarked, "The recent sessions in parliament have clearly demonstrated to the public how the Congress has failed to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution."
The BJP leader accused the Congress of recycling old tactics, such as distorting a past video of Amit Shah to falsely assert that he opposed SC/ST reservations, a claim that had already been thoroughly refuted.
"This is nothing but political theatrics," he stated, adding that the Congress is relying on unfounded accusations as part of Rahul Gandhi's flawed political strategy.
"The Congress lacks tangible ideas or plans to meet the nation's needs, which has pushed them to adopt divisive and misleading political tactics," he asserted.
Regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent remarks on X aimed at the Congress, Chandrasekhar stated, "PM Modi has correctly pointed out that the Congress has resorted to deceptive politics. Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, the party is devoid of vision or strategy for the nation. The public is aware of who has disrespected Dr Ambedkar, denied him the Bharat Ratna, and even contested against him in elections."
The BJP leader further stressed that under PM Modi, the party has consistently honored Dr Ambedkar and adhered to the principles of the Constitution with the highest regard. "The public has become aware of the Congress’s falsehoods and political theatrics," he added.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a pointed attack on the Congress party, accusing them of engaging in dirty tricks to erase the legacy of Dr Ambedkar and to humiliate the SC/ST communities.
"If the Congress and its corrupt ecosystem believe their malicious lies can obscure their misdeeds from the past, particularly their disrespect towards Dr Ambedkar, they are gravely mistaken! The people of India have repeatedly witnessed how one party, led by a single dynasty, has employed every possible dirty trick to erase the legacy of Dr Ambedkar and demean the SC/ST communities," PM Modi expressed in a post on X.
