BJP MP Dubey Claims Opposition Fears Him, Disrupts Lok Sabha Proceedings

New Delhi, Dec 11 (NationPress) BJP MP Nishikant Dubey asserted on Wednesday that the Opposition is "afraid" of him, following his claims that the Zero Hour in the Lok Sabha has been interrupted for the fourth day in a row due to the sloganeering by Opposition MPs.

This situation arose after tumultuous sessions in Parliament, which included a heated exchange between Dubey and Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, after the BJP accused the Congress on December 5 of being complicit in attacks on national interest orchestrated by foreign entities.

Dubey alleged that since that incident, the Opposition has continuously disrupted parliamentary proceedings whenever his name is mentioned.

In an interview with IANS, Dubey stated, "The Opposition is afraid of me. The Congress lacks the courage to hear my voice. I have the right to pose my ten questions. For the fourth consecutive day, Zero Hour is being wasted. Each time my name is mentioned, they create chaos."

Responding to a protest staged by Opposition MPs outside Parliament, where they distributed roses and Indian flags to NDA MPs while Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi recorded the protest, Dubey dismissed their actions as "childish."

"These are children. Have you ever seen a Leader of Opposition recording videos like this?" he commented.

Both Houses of Parliament have been experiencing turbulent sessions after the BJP accused the Congress, especially the Gandhis, of having ties with US businessman and philanthropist George Soros.

Previously, Dubey had charged the Congress with collaborating with foreign forces to undermine India's sovereignty and hinder its growth.

His statements came in response to a report by Mediapart, a French publication, which alleged that the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) is funded by the US government and influential businessmen with supposed anti-India motives.

The BJP has also claimed that former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi was a co-chairperson of the Forum for Democratic Leaders in Asia-Pacific (FDL-AP), a non-profit organization that purportedly supports anti-India narratives, including the call for Kashmir's independence. This organization is reportedly financed by the George Soros Foundation.

While addressing the Lok Sabha, Dubey contended that the Opposition aims to destabilize the Indian government by aligning with foreign and anti-India forces.

"The OCCRP, backed by the US government and financiers like businessman and investor George Soros, has been continually plotting against the nation," Dubey stated.
