BJP MP Critiques Congress Over 'OCCRP Allegations', Directs Sharp Questions at Leader of Opposition

New Delhi, Dec 5 (NationPress) BJP MP Nishikant Dubey on Thursday accused the Congress party of colluding and conspiring with foreign entities to destabilize the nation and disrupt its growth narrative.
The strong allegations from the BJP MP followed a striking report by Mediapart, a French publication, which revealed in its investigation that the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) is supported by the US government and several powerful businessmen with anti-India motives.
While addressing the Lok Sabha, the BJP MP asserted that the Opposition aims to undermine the Indian government, and to achieve this, they do not hesitate to align with foreign and anti-India factions.
“Out of their animosity towards the Modi administration, they support those who are conspiring against the government,” claimed Nishikant Dubey.
Notably, Mediapart recently disclosed that the OCCRP, which presents itself as an independent and non-partisan body, is financed by US governmental agencies and operates to further their interests.
Nishikant Dubey alleged that the OCCRP, backed by the US government and financiers like George Soros, has been frequently plotting against the nation.
“George Soros consistently attempts to disrupt the economies of various countries. He was instrumental in the collapse of the Bank of England in 1991, profiting over Rs 6 billion from it. Now he seeks to sabotage the Indian economy,” asserted the BJP lawmaker.
He also detailed how Pegasus, Hindenburg, and other reports were strategically released in sync with Parliamentary sessions to obstruct them and accused MPs like Rahul Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, Sanjay Raut, and others of endorsing these baseless and malicious reports.
He posed pointed questions to the Leader of Opposition (LoP) regarding the reasons behind Rahul Gandhi’s meetings with prominent Modi critics like Ro Khanna, Ilhan Omar, and Barbara Lee during his visit to the US.
“The Congress party must clarify what was discussed during these meetings with individuals known for promoting an anti-India agenda on his foreign trips,” he demanded.
The BJP also shared images on its X handle of Rahul Gandhi’s meetings with journalists Mushfiqul Fazal Ansarey and Anand Mangnale, who are closely associated with the OCCRP, and posed questions.
“Rahul Gandhi interacted with Mushfiqul Fazal Ansarey, a Bangladeshi journalist from OCCRP recognized for promoting agendas against India. Why he was engaging with someone acting against our national interests remains unclear?” it questioned.
“Anand Mangnale, who reportedly provided Chinese funding to Sharjeel Imam for the Delhi riots, is affiliated with the OCCRP. He has ties to the Congress and was actively fundraising for them while being part of the DPSG,” it further alleged.
