New Delhi, Feb 7 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh Minister Jaiveer Singh has voiced his strong belief in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) triumph in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections as well as the Milkipur bypolls.
In an interview with IANS, Singh confidently predicted that the BJP is set to establish a government in Delhi with a significant majority. “It is evident that with overwhelming support, we are going to form a government in Delhi with a massive majority,” he stated.
The Delhi Assembly elections took place on February 5, with the results expected to be revealed on Saturday, February 8.
Discussing the important bypoll in Milkipur, Singh noted that the electorate has distanced themselves from the Samajwadi Party (SP) and has chosen to trust the BJP.
He commented, “Even Akhilesh Yadav’s demeanor and comments indicate that the public has repudiated the Samajwadi Party and has rallied behind the BJP’s candidate. I am confident that when the counting occurs tomorrow, our candidate will win by a substantial margin.”
The Milkipur constituency represents a significant contest between the ruling BJP and the opposition SP, especially following the recent bye-elections for nine seats which witnessed intense rivalry between the two parties.
He further criticized the SP leadership, asserting that instead of acknowledging the people's decision, they are attempting to justify their defeat.
Singh urged SP leader Akhilesh Yadav to prioritize governance over blaming others. “Akhilesh Ji should adjust his approach, shed his arrogance, and strive for improvement. Only then might the voters reconsider. Currently, the people's unwavering support is with Yogi Ji and the BJP.”
Singh underscored that the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath resonate with the electorate, reinforcing the BJP's ongoing electoral success. He affirmed that the party remains dedicated to achieving victory in every electoral contest with the backing of the populace.
