New Delhi, April 18 (NationPress) The BJP Yuva Morcha organized a protest march outside the AICC headquarters, voicing their grievances against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi due to his alleged connection to the National Herald case.

Under the leadership of Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, the demonstrators demanded Gandhi's resignation from Congress and chanted slogans against the historic party.

With banners and placards in hand, members of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) marched along the road and climbed barricades to express their frustration over alleged corruption and money laundering involving the Gandhi family in the National Herald case.

The protest was spearheaded by Yuva Morcha President Sagar Tyagi and National General Secretary Rohit Chahal, along with Delhi General Secretary Arun Daral, Gaurav Jorasiya, Puneet Sharma, and other members of the youth wing.

Sachdeva questioned the discontent within Congress after the ED recently seized Rs 661 crore linked to the company owning National Herald.

“This entire case dates back to 2012, during the Congress era, and the petitioners are from Congress itself. Thus, Congress leaders must understand that the BJP is not involved in this matter. Now, as investigative agencies probe the case under court orders, why are Congress leaders—especially Rahul and Sonia Gandhi—feeling uneasy?” he stated.

Sachdeva remarked, “The Congress has a long history of corruption.”

“From Jawaharlal Nehru to Rahul Gandhi, all have played a role in exploiting the nation,” he claimed, emphasizing that the National Herald case concerns the sale of national assets.

As they marched with placards stating, “Corruption is tradition, Congress’ only mission,” Sachdeva argued, “There should be no reason for Congress to feel anxious if their leaders have committed no wrongdoing.”

He noted that when investigative bodies began examining the matter, Congress leaders approached the High Court claiming incorrect valuation. However, the court validated the investigation and permitted it to proceed.

He elaborated that when the National Herald issue surfaced, Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister, but it was Sonia Gandhi, acting as the “super PM,” while Rahul Gandhi managed the situation.

“Public tax money, collected as donations, was misappropriated through Associated Journals Ltd (AJL) and a company called Young India,” Sachdeva alleged.

“Now that the nation demands accountability, they are feeling discomfort. Our struggle will persist until we receive answers,” he affirmed.

Sagar Tyagi stated, “The family responsible for looting the nation, enacting Article 370 to divide it, and harboring anti-national forces must now face justice. Prime Minister Narendra Modi revoked Article 370, and now Rahul Gandhi must respond regarding the National Herald case.”

Rohit Chahal commented, “In Congress today, the mother, brother, and brother-in-law are all currently out on bail. After engaging in theft, the Congress is now on the streets, advocating for its own party. With the law performing its duties, questions are being raised.”

The ED submitted a new chargesheet in a Special Delhi court against Congress MPs Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in the alleged National Herald case.

The ED claimed that the investigation demonstrated that Young Indian, a private entity beneficially owned by Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, acquired AJL properties valued at Rs 2,000 crore for just Rs 50 lakh, grossly undervaluing their worth.

The probe also suggested that properties of Young Indian and AJL were utilized for generating illicit proceeds through bogus donations totaling Rs 18 crore, fictitious advance rents amounting to Rs 38 crore, and fraudulent advertisements worth Rs 29 crore.

The ED's investigation began in 2021, based on a cognizance order issued on June 26, 2014, by the Metropolitan Magistrate of Patiala House Courts in New Delhi, following a private complaint lodged by Subramanian Swamy.

The complaint detailed a criminal conspiracy involving several high-profile political figures, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Oscar Fernandes, Suman Dubey, Sam Pitroda, and Young Indian concerning alleged involvement in a money laundering case.
