Kolkata, April 10 (NationPress) On Friday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to unveil the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) election manifesto for the upcoming two-phase Assembly elections in West Bengal, which are scheduled for later this month.
The BJP is branding this document as the 'Sankalp Patra'. In a morning social media announcement, HM Shah remarked that the citizens of West Bengal, burdened by the ineffective governance of the Trinamool Congress (TMC)-led state administration, are yearning for a transformation.
“Bengal, tired of TMC's rule, is now ready for change. Today in Kolkata, I will present the BJP's 'Sankalp Patra' aimed at liberating Bengal from TMC's 'reign of terror'. Following this, I look forward to engaging with the people of the state during a public meeting in Debra, West Midnapore, and a roadshow in Kharagpur,” stated the Union Home Minister.
According to the itinerary, HM Shah will lead two rallies on Saturday, starting at Chhatna in Bankura district and followed by another in Baghmundi in Purulia district.
