Kolkata, March 25 (NationPress) - The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, is set to unveil a 'charge sheet' or 'White Paper' against the West Bengal government and the ruling Trinamool Congress on March 28, as part of his two-day tour of the state that is gearing up for its upcoming two-phase Assembly elections next month, according to sources from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
A BJP committee member stated that the party initially planned to release its manifesto, now referred to as 'Sankalp Patra', on either April 3 or April 4.
Efforts are being made to ensure that Amit Shah personally introduces the 'Sankalp Patra', especially after he emphasized the party's intended initiatives during a recent 'Parivartan Yatra' in Raidighi, located in the South 24 Parganas district.
On the second day of his visit on Wednesday, BJP President Nitin Nabin led crucial organizational and strategic meetings with the party's state election management team, as well as representatives from various groups, including women, youth NGOs, clubs, and organizations representing scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and other backward classes (OBC).
The discussions aimed to fortify booth-level management, enhance grassroots outreach, and refine the party's electoral strategy, as stated by the West Bengal BJP.
In the statement, Nitin Nabin expressed optimism that the citizens of West Bengal are ready for transformation and are determined to pursue a future devoid of fear, corruption, and instability.
He underscored critical issues such as governance, development, women's safety, job opportunities, and the effective execution of central welfare schemes as paramount concerns for voters. He declared the upcoming state election a pivotal moment for West Bengal, where the populace will choose progress, security, and effective governance. He urged all party members to engage actively with the community, disseminate the party's vision and manifesto to every household, and work diligently in the weeks leading up to the election to secure victory.
