Bengaluru, Feb 19 (NationPress) In a tragic turn of events, a two-year-old boy lost his life after being crushed by a JCB (excavator/bulldozer) in the Kadugodi area on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Wednesday.

The young victim has been identified as Thavan Reddy.

Law enforcement officials reported that the accident transpired while the child was playing near his home.

Initial investigations indicate that the incident was a result of overspeeding and careless driving.

The vehicle struck the boy, leading to a critical head injury. He was quickly taken to Vaidehi Hospital, where medical personnel pronounced him dead on arrival.

The remains have been forwarded for a post-mortem examination. The Mahadevapura Traffic Police have filed a case and are currently probing the situation.
