The alleged perpetrator, Chandrakishore Yadav, a police officer, has been detained in relation to this appalling act, as per official statements.
The horrifying sequence of events began when Kshitij vanished from his residence at 8 p.m. on Sunday. His disfigured body was found the next day concealed among the underbrush behind Netarhat Hospital. The boy endured severe violence—both his eyes were extracted, his arm was shattered in multiple locations, and he suffered numerous stab wounds to his abdomen and neck.
Kshitij's father, Prabhat Kumar, who operates as a bus agent and grocery shopkeeper, had previously confronted Chandrakishore Yadav. This dispute took place while Yadav was receiving training at the police's Junglewar Fair School in Netarhat. After completing the training, Yadav returned to Bokaro.
