Mumbai, Oct 21 (NationPress) The public sector oil behemoth Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) is set to organize its 28th Energy Technology Meet in Hyderabad next week from October 28 to 30. This international platform will bring together industry leaders and innovators aiming to revolutionize the future of sustainable refining and energy innovation.

Last week, BPCL marked a significant achievement in its LPG sector with the nationwide rollout of the 'Zero Ka Dum' (ZKD) initiative, an innovative third-party certification program for LPG bottling plants across India.

BPCL's LPG operations team has made a remarkable advancement in guaranteeing uncompromised quality and customer safety through the Zero Ka Dum (ZKD) certification initiative.

As part of this program, each LPG bottling facility undergoes a thorough third-party audit conducted by independent agencies accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB). These audits evaluate every aspect of the cylinder's journey — from the plant to the end-user — ensuring only high-quality, defect-free cylinders reach consumers.

The milestone was celebrated during a special event on October 16 at the BPCL Loni LPG Bottling Plant, attended by BPCL's senior leadership, key stakeholders, distributors, and transporters.
