Higher-ranking police officials also visited the hotel and interrogated the staff.
As part of the investigation, CCTV footage was reviewed and the reception entry and exit logs were analyzed.
Jakkanpur SHO Rituraj Kumar Singh confirmed the occurrence, stating that the forensic team examined the room and gathered scientific evidence.
The body was subsequently transported to Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) for a post-mortem examination, with his viscera preserved for further analysis.
“Preliminary investigations revealed no external injuries on his body. We are currently awaiting the results of the post-mortem and viscera analysis, along with the FLS report to determine the cause of death,” Singh elaborated.
The deceased's family has been notified, and further legal actions are in process.
