New Delhi, March 28 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday praised the recent Cabinet resolutions, highlighting their significance in advancing India's journey towards Aatmanirbhar.

The Cabinet has sanctioned essential initiatives, including the electronics component manufacturing scheme, a nutrient-based subsidy for Kharif 2025, the Patna-Arrah-Sasaram corridor, and the Kosi-Mechi intra-state link project.

In a series of updates on social media platform X, PM Modi underscored how these decisions will stimulate economic growth, assist farmers, and improve infrastructure.

The Prime Minister noted that the Cabinet's endorsement of the electronics component manufacturing scheme is set to attract investments, spur innovation, and create job opportunities.

“A robust boost to self-reliance and transforming India into a hub for electronics component manufacturing,” stated PM Modi regarding the Cabinet’s approval of the electronics component manufacturing scheme, backed by funding of Rs 22,919 crore.

The Cabinet, under PM Modi's leadership, also sanctioned a two percent rise in Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners, effective from January 1.

Additionally, the Prime Minister commended the government’s decision to endorse the nutrient-based subsidy (NBS) for Phosphatic and Potassic (P&K) fertilizers for the Kharif season of 2025.

This initiative will guarantee that farmers receive fertilizers at accessible prices, ultimately bolstering food security and benefiting the agricultural sector.

Shifting focus to infrastructure development in Bihar, the Prime Minister emphasized the Cabinet’s endorsement of the Patna-Arrah-Sasaram corridor, which will be constructed as a 4-lane greenfield and brownfield highway.

“This project will catalyze economic growth, enhance connectivity, and alleviate traffic congestion in the area, providing significant relief to commuters and businesses,” PM Modi expressed.

In another post, PM Modi reaffirmed the government's dedication to Bihar's development by announcing the approval of the Kosi-Mechi intra-state link project under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY).

This irrigation initiative will supply water to a vast agricultural area, notably boosting farm productivity and increasing farmers' income.

The Prime Minister reiterated that these resolutions exemplify the government’s vision for a self-reliant India, ensuring prosperity for farmers, promoting industrial growth, and enhancing national infrastructure.
