Ayodhya, Jan 5 (NationPress) The revered city of Ayodhya is poised to celebrate the Pratishtha Dwadashi festival from January 11 to 13, marking the first anniversary of Ram Lalla’s installation in the magnificent temple.

On the inaugural day, which is January 11, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will carry out the sacred Abhishek of Shri Ram Lalla in the sanctum sanctorum at 11 a.m.

Following this, he will launch a cultural program at Angad Tila and address the gathered devotees.

Celebrated artists such as Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, and Malini Awasthi will perform devotional songs during this auspicious occasion.

Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, elaborated on the three-day agenda.

"On January 11, coinciding with Paush Shukla Paksha, Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2001, we commemorate one year since the establishment of the newly constructed temple at Ayodhya Dham, the sacred birthplace of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, a symbol of Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma. Activities will feature lively kirtans in key areas across Ayodhya, including Lata Chowk, Janmabhoomi Path, Shringar Haat, Ram Ki Paidi, Sugriva Fort, and Chhoti Devkali. Young performers will captivate audiences with musical acts throughout the city," he stated.

He also mentioned that the three-day Shri Ram Raag-Seva program will be hosted in a pavilion adjacent to the temple's sanctum sanctorum.

This initiative, spearheaded by Ayodhya artist Yatindra Mishra with backing from the Sangeet Natak Academy, will present devotional offerings to Lord Shri Ram through music, dance, and instrumental performances.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has also invited saints and devotees nationwide.

Champat Rai encouraged residents and pilgrims to engage in the festivities, advocating for at least a one-day visit during the three-day festival to immerse themselves in the spiritual ambiance of Ayodhya.
