New Delhi, June 19 (NationPress) The prominent think-tank Chintan Research Foundation, celebrating its first anniversary, is set to concentrate on essential areas such as climate change, geopolitical challenges, and investigations into the economy and trade, stated Pranav Adani, Managing Director (Agro, Oil and Gas) and Director of Adani Enterprises, the internal incubator of the Adani Group, during a Thursday event.
In an interview with IANS at a CRF gathering in the national capital, Pranav Adani emphasized the crucial role research foundations play in the nation’s development narrative, aiding in the comprehension of current realities, and underscored that the foundation will prioritize pivotal areas through evidence-based research.
“When we discuss climate change, the energy transition holds significant importance. India is currently positioning itself positively on the global stage, transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources. We are indeed on the correct path,” he remarked.
He further elaborated: “The world is in search of alternatives and equity-based partnerships. It’s time for previously unheard voices to step into the limelight. Let’s confidently establish our global presence.”
Chintan Research Foundation will also delve into geopolitical matters.
“This think tank is a significant endeavor, focusing on economy and trade, geopolitical issues, and energy transitions. We take pride in completing its inaugural year,” he conveyed to reporters.
Pranav Adani stressed the necessity of having strong think tanks that are purely research-based and evidence-driven. “This defines the role that Chintan Research Foundation will adopt concerning the economy—covering aspects like supply chains and the energy transition,” he noted.
He asserted that the CRF must envision and re-envision India’s role in shaping the future, particularly of the Global South.
“This level of transformation is crucial for India to realize its full potential and become Viksit Bharat by 2047, as envisioned by our esteemed Prime Minister. As planned, the CRF’s research will focus on critical issues such as climate change, equitable energy transitions, the evolving global economy, vital supply chains, dynamic trade relationships, and the overarching geopolitics that influence the world’s future,” he added.
