Kerala election results 2025: UDF leads 99 seats, Tharoor confident of comfortable majority
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Monday, 4 May expressed strong confidence that the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) will secure a comfortable majority in Kerala, as vote counting in the state assembly elections showed the UDF ahead in 99 of 140 seats — well beyond the halfway mark needed to form the government in Thiruvananthapuram.
