Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday, June 15, 2026, performed the groundbreaking ceremony (bhoomi pujan evam shilanyas) for a state-of-the-art MSME Technology Centre at Khizarsarai in Gaya district, marking a significant push to industrialise one of Bihar's historically underserved regions.

The Chief Minister announced that the centre will be developed at an estimated cost of approximately ₹170 crore, with the Bihar government providing 20 acres of land for the facility. Once operational, the centre is projected to deliver technical training to more than 7,000 youth annually and extend modern technological assistance to over 1,000 MSME units.

Addressing the gathering, CM Choudhary also inaugurated the widening and strengthening of the road connecting Gaya–Islampur–Khizarsarai to the new centre, underlining that infrastructure connectivity is as critical as the facility itself.
